The members of the Plankton special task force, aka Tentacle Trio form the main cast of the show.
Out of an army of billions, they are the only soldiers who have mastered the skill to survive on land, making them the ideal and sole executers of the invasion plan.
While supreme commander in chief Medusa and his army waits impatiently for D-day to finally come, our Tentacle Trio goes on land and infiltrates behind enemy lines. Under the expert guidance of Captain John C. Star our commando comes up with insane plans, ridiculous schemes and impossible missions in a desperate attempt to implement the plan.

Starring the series is ranking officer; Captain John C. Star, the star of the show.
He is a plankton war veteran who fought many battles during his career in the plankton military, receiving many medals and distinctions. Our captain is a true killing machine, a martial arts master and expert in both human and plankton war fare.
Besides his military excellence, his passion for blowing up things, there is not much more to John C. Star. “What you see is what you get”, pretty much describes the extent of his emotional and social capabilities.
If you sometimes wonder why whales wash up on our shores, you might like to know this roughly coincides with a stopover of the captain in that area.

Second in command is commo Pulpo Kalmarez, a communications officer who specializes in IT.
This green squid-like plankton soldier is not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer, but compensates his lack of intelligence by his overenthusiastic and good natured character.
He is a soldier in the true sense of the word; he is loyal and will faithfully obey orders, never questioning the chain of command.
You’ll never see him without his ComShell: a mobile communications device enabling him to log onto the Internet or transmit long distance wireless communications as well as receive instruction data from Commander Medusa.(more info soon)

Doctor Anna Medusa, a jellyfish descendant but more importantly the commander in chief’s only daughter, is the only civilian on the team.
Her expert knowledge and master degree in humanitarian sciences, makes her indispensable for the success of the mission.
As TAC expert she is the only member who actually takes the time to stop and think, as a result of which she realizes the absurdity of the invasion plan all together.
More so than her cerebral capacity, it is her special sedating powers that impress her fellow fighters the most. Whenever Anna touches something with her tentacles she injects them with a sedating poison, Incapacitating her opponent in a matter of seconds. (more info soon)

Francois is, like his daughter from jellyfish descent however in a further stage of development. This resulted in his body sprouting long, plump tentacles, which constantly feed the commander’s biggest frustration: his inability to go on land.
The fact that he’s - unlike his daughter - constricted to the depths of the sea is such an utter disillusionment to him, that he has built his total career on one goal: drowning all land.
After a long and steady climb up the military ladder, he reached the position of commander in chief. Now there is nothing or nobody who will keep him from realizing his master plan. With no regard for plankton life, he ordered thousands and thousands of his soldiers to go on land with disastrous results; causing carnage and mayhem amongst his troops. (Ever seen a beach with washed up jellyfish?)

Although our Tentacle Trio is the pick of the litter, the cream of the crop, the smart set of the Plankton Military, they totally got the wrong end of the stick when it comes to Kyoto.
Despite their extensive knowledge of Plankton war fare they misinterpreted the intelligence on the Kyoto Protocol and are now looking for a person. He is on top of their most wanted list and their aim is to track him down, capture and execute him.

Phytoplankton, distant relatives of the zoo plankton, are gentle, easy going creatures. Although they are not very likely to ever make it to the top of the food chain, with their unstoppable hunger for CO2 they are, probably unwittingly, slowing down the effects of global warming.
This makes them backstabbing traitors who must be stopped.

They pose no real danger to the success of the mission, as long as they continue you to lend a helping hand to the global warming-up of the climate. Which, by the way, they are doing just fine. Still they are non aquatic, therefore not to be trusted.
