The fellowship of plankton did well at cartoon forum!
The presentation was described as the one that made Ludwigsburg explode - well the room almost did anyway, as nearly 200 people squeezed in a 100 man capacity room.
- Joeri Christiaen and Frédéric Lenoir, an excellent writer who has now joined the Plankton team, presenting the project.
Plankton Invasion became the hit of the Forum. These are just the first steps in unfolding the tentacles throughout the Television landscape, but it sure looks promising.

Breaking Plankton News
Captain C Star and his team are invading the TV landscape, as we got selected and will be pitching Plankton Invasion at Cartoon Forum, the co-production market for European TV series, next week!Even bigger news is that we can now proudly announce that Plankton Invasion, the TV-series, is currently being developed by Tinkertree-TeamTO-Nexus with the French broadcaster Canal +
Plankton is invading!
PS: As a result of this current focus, the Internet-tentacle needs to go on hold for a while. Just to be clear, we are definitely not closing shop, just doing some big renovations before continuing the Internet script competition, the Tentacle Trio will be back soon!
But like the Captain, I refuse to go on hold without a loud bang and therefore promise that the first contest winner webisode; Counter Attack, by Sushi, will be posted on the website soon. As a foretaste of,-what to expect, I’ve prepared a very short teaser for you.

30 days of RnR!
Due to the P.I. animator’s holiday, the special task force team has been put on 30 days of RnR (rest and relaxation) and this much against the captain’s will!
The contest will close for June and is back online in August and the April winning joke; Counter attack is scheduled to air mid July.

We think that both jokes, Kamikaze and CO² Crackhouse are very ‘planktonic’; they are nice approaches and make great use of the series theme. Since both writers pitched the idea to merge their scripts, we’ve decided to select them both as winners. However, there is the matter of the T-shirt: we will have to cut this in half or something
