Plankton Invasion

The zoo-plankton, the smallest form of aquatic life, have gathered, grouped and organized themselves in a military way in order to invade, conquer and rule the world just like their forefathers did during their Primal Soup heighdays, about 3 million years ago.

Being aquatic they do have one major problem …dry land and lots of it.
They know all too well that this problem has to be dealt with or there will be no invasion. Their leader, Commander Medusa comes up with a strategy, a 4 steps action plan which will lead them to their ultimate goal. He gives his sinister master plan the ominous name: Operation Invasion, codename Global Warming. He will turn this clod of earth into a watery planet.

Step 1: Pollute the environment thus warming up the climate.
Step 2: Thus melting the polar ice cap.
Step 3: Causing a catastrophic rise in sea level which will drown all land.
Step 4: Global Invasion.

While commander in chief Medusa and his multi-billion plankton army – roughly the size of a smallish inflatable boat – wait impatiently for D-day to finally come, a special tasks force team has been sent on land to execute the plan. Under the expert guidance of Captain John C. Star our commando comes up with insane plans and ridiculous schemes in a desperate attempt to implement the 4 stages of the plan.

The action of Plankton Invasion part I, will primarily take place on the beach.
Our plankton thinks they are exploring and gathering information across the globe, but are actually covering only a couple of square meters of beach and dunes.
And that will sadly be the extenT of their “seek and destroy” mission. All of the episodes will take place on the beach, and we will of course make use of its characteristic elements such as: stuff washed upon the shore, small sea-life animals, garbage cans, sewer pipes, sand castles, sunbathers, public toilets and showers, beach cabins, beach volleyball field, etc…

We will occasionally transfer the center of attention to the dark depths of the sea to find out what is happening to Medusa and his army while our brave tentacle trio plots on.

Their headquarters, far behind enemy lines, is not more than a dirty washed up plastic box. Through a secret doorway we enter a bunker packed with plankton technology, sea shell monitors and computers, seaweed wires, coral satellites, etc…
This is the nerve centre of their operation, where they meticulously monitor their progress made so far, where they assemble to plan and plot or where they transmit their status reports to Commander Medusa. (and get yelled at, big time!)
